I would like to Welcome Brooke Long to the Working at Home on the Internet Family. Brooke is a long time reader of this Blog and an accomplished Work At Home Mom. She will be a great contributor here to give you some insight into the trials and tribulations of life as a WAHM.

Who am I? I am a mom that works at home of course! Okay – really – I have had my own business since 1997, – Cataluña – web sites redesigned from scratch… But… It has been two years since I started writing the WHAM Wisdom page and it is time to update my bio!
Since I started on this blog I have had two businessess. Cataluña – web sites redesigned from scratch – I have had since ’97. BUT my newest business venture is Cataluna Designs – unique beaded hair accessories and jewelry. With the latter I have a business partner who is one of my best friends. We have been doing this since January of 2010 and having great time!
That is my working side – and I have always worked at home. In 2003 I had my first child and then two years later I had my other child. Since the birth of my first child I have struggled balancing my business, staying at home, raising my kids and being the best mom that I can. I know that many women (and men) face the same dilemmas I do and hope that my sharing will offer some helpful insights.
I have gone through so many emotions in the last seven years that I am constantly changing how I work. Being a part of this great blog has really let me open up with frustrations, successes and share some ideas from time to time.
I thank you all for reading and commenting and I hope you all can find some enjoyment, laughter or words of wisdom in these articles.
