Some of you might remember me saying in yesterday’s post that one of my regrets while attending SOBCon was Not Having Business Cards.
Well, I spent a good bit of time designing something I may or may not use. That just depends on what I end up liking. I did provide a link on Open Comments Night over at Liz’s House to one of the preliminary designs, however, that was just the First of many variations.
Take a look at the Latest and tell me what you think…

The Name was suggested in a conversation Liz Strauss and I had a few weeks before SOBCon. I am not really sure if that will be the permanent Business Name or not, but it Does describe what I do, put your Computer Back in Service.
The Logo Has to Stay, it was designed for me long, long ago in a Galaxy far, far away by my Son B.J. when he was about 8 years old for a very different business. The Background color may change, but the Logo itself will not (notice the “C” looks like a horseshoe? B.J. said it was for Luck).
If you would like to print a copy for yourself in lieu of an actual card, please feel free.
Do you like? Any suggestions? Ideas?

I would like to Thank Everyone who participated in the last poll, “Should I Move the Blog to the .com (main) Domain?”. Although the results were fairly even, the leave it the way it is vote won by one. Very close indeed, but your input was invaluable.

In order to enhance your experience while visiting Working at Home on the Internet, I would like to ask for your help in determining some of the most useful Post Types I Present. Again, the Poll will run for only a week, but that should give me an idea of what you, the readers, find helpful.
Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
If there is something that is not included in the Poll you think should have been, please click “other” and let me know in comments. You can respond in this Post or in the Sidebar until closing 5/5/07.
Thanks

For some reason I can’t access my StatCounter account through IE7. But it works fine if I use FireFox.
Here is the Error…

I have all the latest security updates. I run Windows Defender through XP SP2 also updated recently.
I just downloaded a new Antivirus program, PC Tools AV, which is supposed to be totally compatible with my setup. I am not too pleased at this point with the way it runs (really slow and seems to use too many resources). I am thinking of uninstalling it and finding a new AV.
I’m just curious if anyone else has seen or gotten this error trying to access their StatCounter account. Has anyone else tried the PC Tools AV and run into the same problem?
I will be trying to track this down and let you know if I come up with any answers, either as an Update here or as a New Post if it is pretty involved.
Update: I uninstalled PC Tools and the problem went away. It seems StatCounter and the AV don’t get along too well. Possibly because of the use of Cookies or the constant monitoring of sites or the fact that IE blocks pop-ups already and so does PCT. Personally, I Do Not Recommend using PC Tools with IE7 and/or StatCounter.
