I know I promised a post today about the differences in Working AT, FROM and OUT OF your home, and I re-promise I will do it for tomorrow!
I’m just too excited today because I just got my Brand New (well, refurbished) Laptop.
It is a DELL Inspiron 1501 and I am just learning how to set things up and get them the way I want them. It is a totally different feel to the keyboard and it seems the keys were actually set up for someone with much smaller fingers than I have.
So far I am happy with it, but it has only been an hour or so. I keep hitting the Caps Lock instead of the Shift Key and for some reason the “n” keeps showing up as I hit the space bar. It is me, not the computer. I have to keep the fingers closer together when typing.
Frankly, I am sitting out on my patio with a nice cold beer and enjoying the weather playing with my new toy. So, I’ll see you tomorrow when I get back to Business (another advantage to Working at Home!).

When I look at my Statistics to see how people are finding Working at Home on the Internet, I get some variation in the searches from all the Search Engines. I very often get Working AT, FROM, OUT of HOME. Sounds like a trivial thing, doesn’t it? But I think it could be very telling… How do people perceive and look for situations for Self-employment? How can I best serve the people who need this type of information?
So I thought I would take a poll this week to get a better idea of this for future reference and maybe even get a few articles out of it.
Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
I will write a post for Monday on what I feel are the differences in the various terminologies. Please feel free to add your opinion, as always.
