Monday Morning Musings for Work at Homers…

Marriage and Men

- When a man decides to marry, it may be the last decision he’ll ever make.

- Some men who speak with authority at work know enough to bow to a higher authority at home

- A dish towel will certainly wipe the contented look off a married man’s face

- Love is the quest, marriage is the conquest, divorce is the inquest.

- An engagement is an urge on the verge of a merge.

- Marriage brings music to a man’s life. He learns to play second fiddle.

- Getting married is one mistake every man should make.

- A well-informed man is one whose wife has just told him what she thinks of him.

- Courtship, unlike proper punctuation, is a period before a sentence.

- The argument you just won with your wife isn’t over yet.

and lastly…

- Before criticizing your wife’s faults, you must remember it may have been these very defects which prevented her from getting a better husband than the one she married!

Monday Morning Musings for Work at Homers…

Yesterday for IT People (to the tune: Yesterday by the Beatles)

Yesterday,
All those backups seemed a waste of pay.
Now my database has gone away.
Oh I believe in yesterday.

Suddenly,
There’s not half the files there used to be,
And there’s a milestone hanging over me
The system crashed so suddenly.

I pushed something wrong
What it was I could not say.

Now all my data’s gone
and I long for yesterday-ay-ay-ay.

Yesterday,
The need for back-ups seemed so far away.
I knew my data was all here to stay,
Now I believe in yesterday.

Hope that put a smile on your face and brightened the start of the work week just a bit.

I saw this little Christmas Light Show in my travels on the net and just had to share it with you on Chrismas Eve.
Damion Rodriguez developed this cool light display set to “The Little Drummer Boy” at a friend’s house in Fountain Valley, California, to honor their friend who passed away this past May.
