... What is RSS?
As you know there are two of us who work together on Cataluña Designs. It has been that way since the beginning and I think that it works well. (At least with us it does)
Let me tell you why:
There are two of us to share in the workload
- Forums
- Editing product information
- Participation is craft sites
- Creating pieces
- Selling
- Advertising
- Accounting
- Billing
- Pricing
- Is that everything we do?
That part is great. We love to be able to split things up so we aren’t going too crazy. After all, we both have lives, and more importantly, families that we want to be with.
But that is not the best part. So what is?
Being able to work with someone, bounce ideas off them, push the business. We will be successful because we have each other.
Also , Angie and I have realized something. Whatever the one does not have, the other has. It could be tools, beads, displays etc. But it is also talent. Sure, either of us could figure out how to do the other one’s role – but who wants to? Who has the time? We try to pick up skills that the other has just in case – but the synergy is so good.
What do you feel is the best part of having a partner? Do you like it the way that we do? Why?
Brooke has been a part of the WAHI family since March 2009 writing articles for the WAHM Wisdom section. She has had her own business since 1997, – Cataluña – web sites redesigned from scratch. She also creates web sites, e-newsletters, blogs, e-commerce sites etc. as well as print collateral including logos.
