It is possible that they could be showing up in YOUR e-mail shortly too, hence this WARNING!
The first one is from Microsoft Team showing My e-mail address in the background. The Subject is Conflicker.B Infection Alert and the attachment leads to an Application exe file and should NOT Be Opened. It could cause problems that you don’t want nor need.
Here is a copy of the text:
Dear Microsoft Customer,
Starting 12/11/2009 the ‘Conficker’ worm began infecting Microsoft customers unusually rapidly. Microsoft has been advised by your Internet provider that your network is infected.
To counteract further spread we advise removing the infection using an antispyware program. We are supplying all effected Windows Users with a free system scan in order to clean any files infected by the virus.
Please install attached file to start the scan. The process takes under a minute and will prevent your files from being compromised. We appreciate your prompt cooperation.
Regards,

The second is probably even More devious because it is directed to My e-mail address from an even more Trusted Site. ME. The subject is A new settings file for the joe@workingathomeinternet.com has just been released. I think I would have known, but someone who was new to internet might not be as wary.
