... What is RSS?
I can’t believe how busy we have been making jewelry and hair accessories. People have been ordering, we have been running around trying to find the right supplies, doing research to find more designs, and all kinds of work on the web. The web is an endless supply of information, stats, marketing resources and more. That by itself keeps us jumping!
For me this business comes with a price…a big one. Sacrificing my time with my kids. So I am taking some time to try to figure out how to make things a little more balanced. I am just so excited with Cataluña Designs (I am like that kid in the candy store) that it is really hard to put down.
Trying to get a business off the ground can be really daunting. But we are keeping it together and doing our best to be great business women and great moms too. It is a tall order – but I know it is something that we can do.
Now I am back at the beginning. Having to find that work / personal life balance. Hopefully I will figure things out quickly. I am just having so much fun that I do not want to stop but my family has to come first.
I do have to figure out how to put things on “pause” for a while!
Brooke has been a part of the WAHI family since March 2009 writing articles for the WAHM Wisdom section. She has had her own business since 1997, – Cataluña – web sites redesigned from scratch. She also creates web sites, e-newsletters, blogs, e-commerce sites etc. as well as print collateral including logos.
