SEMI-Retirement

If you read last weeks post you have learned that I am in semi-retirement.  The kindergartner starts school TOMORROW and the pre-schooler started last week.  I am so excited that they will both be in school – but a little nervous about how things will go.  That is why I am entering semi-retirement.

I plan on teaching Gooshy (the 6 year old) Spanish 3 days per week.  That all by itself will be quite a challenge.  I have never done this before and I do not speak any Spanish.  I decided on three days per week because Smooshy (the 4 year old) will not be with us those three days.

Then we have all kinds of things going on that are keeping us so busy this whole month.  I am foreseeing that things will be just as crazy in October – but we will see.

So with all of this going on – and this new chapter that my family is entering – I need to keep stepping back.  Things are still keeping me busy with work, but only as much as I can handle right now.  It is a perfect situation and I am grateful that I can take advantage of it.

If I were you I would stop by next week and see how we are coping with the first week of school.  So far it has been a nightmare and school has not even started!  (attitude attitude attitude!)
