Day 1: School Is Out

When you read this it will be day three. But I am writing this at the end of day one. Some of you may not know that I have ALWAYS had my children in daycare/preschool. They have always been part time to some degree. 4 days per week, 3 days per week etc.

There have been vacation days and sick days that they were home on a day that they usually would be at school. Those days didn’t happen that often and could be difficult at times. But to have them at home every day for three months is a bit overwhelming.

I am using the next 3 months as a “test” of sorts. Is this something that I like? Is this something that I want to do? I am supposed to be relaxing about work, not really trying to grow things.

BUT…

I am never able to do that. So instead of just relaxing, I have been trying to think of other ways that I can make money while at home. Ways that I can do the same work easily.

I am starting something new – creating web pages for new families – basically anyone that has pictures that they want to share with their friends and family. I will be helping to get them set up on Shutterfly Share Sites. So while I am at home relaxing – I am getting more involved with another branch of my business, taking part of social media more, and of course taking care of my children. I will keep you updated this summer on what is happening.
