I mentioned back on New Year’s Eve Day that I was seriously thinking about changing the look and feel of the Blog.
This is the result… Look around… Feel it out… Test things… and give me your Opinion (Oh, and please take the poll!)
I know some things like the “Series” plugin don’t work and I am working on it, but overall, what do YOU think? Is there anything you found that doesn’t work or something I am missing?

I’ll give you all the details of what was involved in the transition in the very near future just in case you want to make a change to your own site. (If you forgot what the Old Theme looked like, I haven’t changed the Webpage yet.)
Built with the Thematic Framework for WordPress using the Byty Child Theme, I’ll post about the process soon.

It looks very clean Joe. Lots of cool stuff in the sidebars and at the bottom of the page.

Thanks, I was going for the cleaner, less cluttered look. The sidebar is my first full foray into using Widgets. That should help in some of the future upgrades and/or changes to the site.
Your site is easy to find things because of your use of color, Joe. Very easy to see where different categories and page content are placed. Colorful yet not over bearing. Hope I will be able to develop such a clean look and feel as you have.

Thanks, I try to make things “findable” & I think it is easier with the new look. Try the newer Framework type themes, they are pretty easy to work with and I’m sure you’ll get what you want.
Ditto what Adam says, Joe. Clean. And also simple. In a good way – straightforward. and easy. This makes the design be the background transportation for getting us to the great content. Nice.

Yea, clean. So far, that is what everyone is saying but you are the first to notice the tag line has a bit of alliteration.
