Today is Working at Home’s Third Blog Birthday

Happy Birthday to You

Happy Birthday to You

Happy Birthday Dear Working at Home on the Internet

Happy Birthday to You

And Many Moooore!

Three years, no wonder I seem to have run out of things to write about.  ;-) That is a long time to keep up with something that began with no game plan, no real direction or path. Even though I am spending more time with the Consulting end of the business, I do plan on being more active here once again, giving you more of the information that you have come to expect from Working at Home on the Internet and me.

But enough of the excuses, this is A Time to Celebrate!

There are more than a few of my Blogging Friends who have Blog B-days this month, so I would like to extend my best wishes for continued success to:

ProBlogger on their 4th Anniversary. Darren Rowse has always given great advice about Blogging in general and as a Business.

Escape From Cubicle Nation is 3 this year too. Pamela Slim is still giving great pointers to people who are not happy with their day jobs and want to break out on their own.

Liz’s Strauss’ Successful Blog is also turning 3 this month. I’ve known Liz the whole time, and actually got to meet this great person face-to-face (what a treat!) at SOBCon 07 AND 08.

Cat (Catherine if she doesn’t mind me using her real name) started Designers who Blog a couple of years ago as well. Cat brought together some of the Best Web Designers together for a Great Blog. She almost forgot her Blogiversary last year, Hint, Hint.

HART’s HART Empire is having it’s Third B-Day in October, I don’t really know which of the nine (that’s right 9) Blogs he started first, but this one brings them all together seamlessly.

Dee has an appropriately named Blog, the Misadventures of dee that is turning three this October too. If you want to know what a Professional Background and Color Artist does in her spare time, look no further.

Business BlogWire was started by Easton Ellsworth 3 years ago this month and has produced some great insight into the Corporate aspect of blogging. Actually, his Blog is going through a bit of a rebirth this month, so maybe it’s a REAL B-day.

And since Lara Kulpa almost forgot her Blog’s B-Day last year too, I want to give her a shout out as a reminder. Happy Third Anubis Marketing. I know, Lara, your business is going through a re-branding and I should say Happy B-day to your new Blog and Business, Ginkgo Consulting. All the Best!

Happy Blog B-Day to all the October Bloggie Babies (and they are our babies). And now lets… Look to the Future!

If your Blog was Born in October and I didn’t include yours in this list, Please let me know in Comments and I’ll be sure to include a link to your Blog.

Happy Birthday, to the blog of my favorite poet.
I still remember every minute of it.
You’ve keep it light and lively.
Would have been the same without you.

      Love,
      Liz

Thanks for remembering Joe! How cool is that that our birthday month is filled with so many genuinely nice and helpful people. I can hardly believe it has been three years! Then again, it feels like I have been blogging forever!

Thanks for all of your continued support, and generous links.

To quote Gary Larsen, Hippo Birdie, Two Ewes!

Joe, happy blog birthday man. It’s amazing how time flies. I wonder whether we’ll be doing this ten years from now. :)

Keep up the wonderful work here.

      Hey Easton,
Good to see you again. I like that you hooked up with The Blog Herald, you add another dimention to that pub.
If I survive another 10 yrs, I guess I’ll still be blogging but maybe a little slower on the typing. Thinking of using VR software even now. ;-)
