I ALWAYS do a major B/U before any upgrade, but it seems to be the useful things that always mess up. I remember on one of their upgrades they change some code from something like &quot;get_categories&quot; to &quot;get_cats&quot; and screwed up ALL plugins that even remotely used categories in their code.
That&#039;s why even with b/u I will do mine on weekends, that gives me 2 days to make things right. ;-)</description>

		<description>Upgrading wordpress is always a scary thing for me.  I wait until 12am on Sunday night and pray it works when I&#039;m done.  I can&#039;t have my blog down during the day or screwed up when customers visit.</description>
