Working at Home on the Internet

Helping You Run an Internet Home Business

Band of Bloggers (An Example for Engaging Customers)

This is one of those posts where I have no idea where to begin. Earlier I was sitting here going through my e-mail and browsing through my RSS feeds and as usual, I had the TV on in the background. More often than not it is just for some sounds of human voices and not for watching.

history.png It was on the History Channel and normally I ignore most of the shows because I probably have seen them already and may glance over once in a while as a distraction. But today, they had a show on that I had never seen and it peaked my interest because it was about Blogging. So I watched.

The show was Band of Bloggers, which is about Soldiers in Iraq who Blog their experiences from the mundane to the insane with little interference from the Big Brass.

I bring up this show, not because of the war itself, but to give you an idea of the power of this new medium, Blogging. When you can get first hand knowledge of happenings by people who are “in the trenches”, you feel almost like you are a part of the experience.

This could also prove useful in promoting your Home Business through Blogging. You can engage your audience (customers) through your experience and the interaction of other happy customers. Testimonials by customers who are well satisfied with your work and comment thanking you for your help with their problems can go quite far in giving new, potential clients a reason to try your services.

So, if you haven’t tried Blogging to enhance your Business on the Internet, give it a try. You may just find the Power of Blogging could help improve communication with your customers, build trust in your services and help grow your Business.
