I think I have developed a habit over the last two years of Blogging. I don’t know if it is really good or bad. I know a lot of you come here for information about working at home and all you seem to get recently is questions from me.
The main reason is that I feel that a lot of you really know more than me about most things “internet” and I trust my friends.
Since I got my new Dell Inspiron 1501 Laptop, I have gained lots and lots of speed and capability to utilize some of the things I had only dreamed of while using my old (its older than dirt) put together desktop. I just installed a video camera, but there is no sound. I don’t have a microphone/headset to go with it, but that will be solved tomorrow.
This all leads up to the main reason for this post.

I plan on downloading and using Skype for my consulting business as soon as I get my new Mic. But, I wanted to get your opinion on the service.
Is this something you use? Is it worth it? (I know basic service is free)
I think it could be an advantage and make life a little easier when I am talking to a client and working on their computer at the same time. What do you think?

I was curious after reading quite a few posts regarding the Google Page Rank changes over the past few days how it may have affected YOUR Blogs, and whether you care or not.
Please indulge me a little and take a few seconds to fill out this Poll…
Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
It will be in the Sidebar all week and as always, feel free to comment below.
Thanks,
Joe

I really wasn’t going to write anything about the Google god, and the Almighty Page Rank that they hold over the heads of Bloggers trying to supplement their income with advertising.
BUT…
For some reason The Great and Powerful Google has decided to Lower my Page Rank from a 5 to a 4. Why? Who knows. From all the information I can come by, it has something to do with Links.
Everyone who has ever been here knows that I link to just about anyone or anything that has something to do with Working at Home, the Internet, Business Tips or just about anything I think would help my readers Succeed in their Business endeavours.
Could it be that I have Text Link Ads in the sidebar?
If that is the case, Too Bad Google… I make more than 3 times the money with Text Link Ads than I do with Google AdSense. TLA also pays Every Month, without having to wait 3 months after hitting your minimum payout, like AdSense does. There is no way that I am taking those ads (which are plainly under a heading of Affiliate/Advertising Programs) down. I would rather take down the AdSense Ads!
Personally, I think that Google is trying to drive TLA and other Link Advertisers Out Of Business to eliminate the competition. I could be wrong, but that would be a mistake in my opinion. The better way would be for Google to Improve their AdSense Payout System. Make it more timely and less cumbersome. And May the Best Man Win.
Frankly, I am beginning to care less about Google and the Page Ranking System they control. I am going to try to continue to provide valuable information to my readers and let the Chips Fall Where They May.
