Don’t Give Up the Ship, It’s Not Sinking

    adjustingtv.jpg

I was talking to a reader on the phone the other night. She mentioned that she thought I might be losing my writing “touch”.  She said it was reflected in my posts, that I lost the spark for what I was doing. That, maybe I was losing interest in Blogging.

Frankly, I kinda noticed it myself recently. Actually, I think it started in December with a bit of a slump and recurred with a vengeance in March. They are the months that I think I may have taken a new look at what life is about, that’s when Mom and Pop died.

I’ve been trying to put on a good face and post daily, but it doesn’t always seem to work out that way. I am not sure how to handle this dilemma in trying to run a Home Business. I don’t seem to be able to motivate myself to the point of being where I want to be in my Blogging. I still read all the same feeds and continue to research the field, but when it comes right down to it, I don’t seem to have anything new to add.

Before you start thinking that I’m about to give up Blogging, I’m Not. However, I may not be posting as often as I have in the past.

finaltest.PNG I want to concentrate more on the Business of Helping People and Problem Solving. I think I am pretty good at it and it makes me feel more fulfilled. Just last week a visitor read one of my old posts about setting up DSL on Verizon and wrote me an eMail telling me he spent 84 minutes with their “help line” to no avail. After reading my post and taking my suggestions, it took him 5 minutes to solve the problem. So, I will keep posting the things I find that could help others, but I need to make some money too.

All in all, Blogging has been good to me, and I’m not going to give it up, but my posting frequency may not be what it once was. I would rather keep up the quality of what I write. Help people. Make a little money. And have fun doing it.

    Don’t give up on me yet… I haven’t.
