Memorial Day in the U.S.A.
This is a holiday that many think
is a time to frolic and party and drink.
But, it is really a time to remember
every single serving military member
and all those past who served and died
and served our country with great Pride.
So, this Memorial Day please take some time to Remember
All Past and Present, serving or retired service member.

Startups Can Be Stressful, But… by Ben Yoskovitz… Giving some fine examples of Workplace Stress, Ben lets us know that it doesn’t have to be all bad, but the “fit” is the important part.
The Elusive Wizardry of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) by stormedbrown… Storme explains the difference between using Images and Text and why it’s important to remember both Readers and SEO Webcrawlers need to “read” our work.

It’s Official…
Today is the start of the Work at Home/Blogging Project
Concept…
The idea is simple, to help people with a Home Business determine the Advantages or Disadvantages of using a Blog to enhance their business through Blogging on the Internet. It can be about direct income through Blogging or indirect income using a Blog as a way to reach potential or existing customers.
It’s pretty open, whatever has worked for you, you think could work for others, barriers you have encountered. Whatever, as long as it involves Home Business and Blogging.
Rules…
The rules are pretty simple as well.
The post Must be Original. Written by you or someone involved with your business.
The article must have been written no earlier than the pre-announcement (5/24).
Submission links must be submitted through my contact form.
Drawing will be random “out of a hat” literally. I will put the participants names in a hat and pick the winner.
No purely self-promotional posts, please. This is to try to help others in their Home Business endeavours.
Linkbacks/trackbacks are optional.
The Prize…
A Signed Copy of:

Blogging Tips, What bloggers won’t tell you about blogging
by Lorelle VanFossen
Duration…
You can submit posts anytime between now and Saturday (June 2nd) random drawing Sunday (3rd) and the Winner will be announced Monday (4th). That’s it one week and it will be over.
Submissions…
All submissions will be accepted through my Contact Form. Please write your article and submit a link to it. Please don’t submit the full article through the form unless you don’t have a Blog, Webpage or some other way of publishing your own article. If that is the case, please explain the reason and I will be happy to publish your submission here and give you full credit.
Depending on the number of articles submitted, I will post updates with links to the Original Articles daily or every two days, with a Final list being published on the last day of the project.

Believe me, I have read Lorelle’s book twice already and there is a Lot of really helpful information about Blogging in General and using Blogging as a Tool for your Business as well.
If you would like to get an idea of what is in Blogging Tips, Chris Cree wrote a nice article/review about the book. Check it out.
