I never used Aksimet. I’ve used Spam Karma 2 since I started blogging. It’s done a bang-up job for me, rarely giving either false positives or false negatives. When it can’t decide about a comment, it puts it in moderation and sends me an email to tell me about it. If you decide to check other options, it’s worth looking at.
