Beating Back the Bain of Writers Block (a non-meme)
Meme’s are not really my favorite thing. So, I don’t think I’ll call this a meme, let’s call it something else like… a chain link of ideas.
I have been sitting here reading my favorite RSS feeds looking for some inspiration. I went through the Daily Google News Alerts for Working at Home to see if there was something new and different to write about. I went through some of my old posts to see if something could be rewritten. I even went over some of my handwritten notes of possible posts. All of which have worked in the past and most likely will work again in the future.
But, Not today. I sit here looking at a blank computer screen, look out the window, back to the computer screen and nothing has changed. It’s still blank.
Here’s my plan for Beating Back the Bain of Writers Block.
It’s a beautiful day outside, I can tell because I keep looking out the window. So, I’m going to take the rest of the Day Off. I”m going to sit on the front patio with one of the books I got in the grab bag at SOBCon. Probably, the one by Lorelle VanFossen, Blogging Tips. I like her style of Blogging and think there should be some really inspirational thoughts to ponder.
So, how do you Fight the Demon of the Blank Computer Screen? (Writers Block)
Liz Strauss, Chris Cree, Lorelle VanFossen, Terry Starbucker, Sheila Scarborough
You know I am not really fond of memes, so if you don’t feel like tagging anyone else, that’s Ok. But, if you would write something to help a New-Old Friend overcome the block that writers get periodically, I Thank You.
