Editor – Dave Prouhet presents Poor Employee Performance posted at Business Advice Daily, saying, “A Business Advice Daily Top View Article! There are certain problems that most business owners would like to avoid. Calling angry customers, for instance. Presenting unhealthy sales numbers to higher-ups. And yes, dealing with those slow-moving, low-achieving, company-rule-breaking employees known as poor performers. Here’s a suggestion: take care of the latter problem and the other two might just work themselves out.”
Barry Welford presents Will That Be Adaptation Or Alternation? posted at StayGoLinks, saying, “Making your website viewable in mobile devices such as cellphones is a mighty challenge if you try to follow the W3C’s ‘One Web’ Adaptation process. Better and simpler is to design specific cellphone web pages: that’s called Alternation.”
Dane Carlson presents 20 Things Not to Do Before Starting A Business posted at Business Opportunities Weblog, saying, “Too often, many would-be entrepreneurs spend all of their time planning their corporate structure, getting all of the necessary permits, licenses, bank accounts, and doing all of the other minutiae of business before they actually figure out whether or not they actually have a product or service that someone will pay for.”

Joe,
Thanks for including our article in your carnival, we especially appreciate the top spot in busines!
I gave some link love back, and went and read your home page. Says you shut the site down due to spammers. Looks like you are using word press, did you install akismet spam filter? We don’t quite get the spam you do, but wow does it work great!

Hey Dave,
Thanks for the link back, that’s always a good thing.
Actually, I shut down the Old Forum because of spammers and I may just shut the new one for lack of interest.
I do use Akismet and it works very well on blocking the spam around here.
Thanks again for the Link Love,
Joe
Hey Joe,
With all the links and everything – seems like you have a solid site and it seem like your doing all the right things…you have a strong topic…I don’t understand?

Dave,
It’s not MY lack of interest, No one signs up for the Forum except Spammers.
I think that the Blog and Forum don’t seem to fit too well together. Two different type of readers and participants.
Oh, well. Still thinking of what to do to improve participation on the Forum. Haven’t given up completely yet.
Thanks for including us in the carnival as well. I’m sorry to hear that you had to shut down a forum because of SPAMMERS. There are plenty of mods to help prevent that. In addition, if you set up some groudrules and get some good moderators, you can stop that with a quickness.
I’ve been running successful forums for a while now, and would be happy to offer some advice. I’ve been using my blog to offer some good forum tips as well . . .
Good luck and great blog, BTW.

Hey Joshua,
Not a problem, you are always welcome to be a part of this community.
Forums seem to attract Spam for some reason, I have no idea why. I did change things around a bit from the old forum.
This one is actually a Page on the Blog. That way some of the fail-safe’s kick in.
My biggest concern now is gaining Members (real ones, not the just join to spam ones).
As I said to Dave, I’m still working on it.
