Calling All Home Business Owners

marquee.jpg

The Featured Home Business page is one of the most popular and most viewed pages on Working at Home on the Internet. But, I am Really Curious to know if it is actually doing a service for those Businesses. I know that there are increased pageviews here each time a New Business is Featured, but does that translate into additional views of the Companies Home Page? Has it helped them in the longer term by any increased exposure?

I hope so, that’s the main reason I started Featuring Home Businesses in the First Place, to give another avenue for them to be seen by more potential Customers.

I thought including a list of all the Business that have participated in this venture so far would be a good idea so that others who haven’t seen the original postings would have chance to see what I’m talking about.

I do have to say that I’m getting the Google alerts more often, showing “Anubis Marketing” and your site’s listing – so that says something. I’ve had a few hits here and there – and I have to say (in my everloving SEM tone of voice) that continuing to do this will only bring it more and more to the forefront for yourself, and the businesses you highlight. It’s all about the link love, and you know that! ;)

Thanks again for the feature, Joe – You’re truly a gem in the WAH force. :)

      Hey Lara,
The whole point of the page is to Highlight Home Businesses.
I was hoping that it would evolve into a little more that just linking and maybe even result in a few good “hits” from potential clients for those who wanted to be a part of this little project.
Links are good, but clients are better. ;-)
And thanks, I’ve never been called a “gem” before. :-)

It will evolve, Joe… just takes time. Believe me, I’d be happy to take on clients who found me through your site! :)

And only the best people I know ever get called that… ;)

      Lara, You’re too kind. :-)
I think it is a little selfish of me, but if this works it’s a feather in my cap.
In turn, it could draw more traffic here of the type reader that may actually be interested in what I write.
Better traffic = (hopefully) more income. ;-)
As I said, it IS a little Selfish on My part.
