I Apologize, Blog Herald

I am sorry, I was wrong.
Â
Back in mid-December, right after the aquisition of The Blog Herald, I wrote about The Downfall of The Blog Herald. I went so far as to predict that they would either fold or be sold by April 15 (Tax Day). I even cancelled my RSS subscription because I was so disappointed.
Then a short while back, one of my Favorite Bloggers, Liz Strauss joined the team at the Herald. Of course, after reading her first post there, I had to snoop around a little bit. I was a little suprised that I recognized some of the other authors names as well, some of which I read on a regular basis.
Â
I did copy and past the names of the authors who contribute to:
                                 ![]()
- Abe Olandres (33)
- Aileen Thompson (3)
- Amit Agarwal (3)
- Andy Merrett (7)
- Chris Clarke (2)
- Dan Karleen (3)
- Darnell Clayton (59)
- Derek van Vliet (5)
- Ed Lee (2)
- J. Angelo Racoma (19)
- Lance Weiler (2)
- Liz Strauss (5)
- Markku Seguerra (10)
- Matt Craven (615)
- Micah Sparacio (2)
- Scott Karp (5)
- Tony Hung (143)
With a line-up like that I think they are on the right track.
So, I take it back. The Blog Herald has done a good job of recruiting quality writers who write interesting articles. They also seem to be timely with the news around the Blogosphere that they report. AND, I have re-subscribed to their RSS feed.
Â
Best of Luck to Everyone involved with The Blog Herald.

Hey Joe,
What a guy you are! You just made me realize how infrequently I see a straight up apoglogy in print. Thanks for letting me tough the kind fo values that I grew up with and still believe in.

Hey Liz,
Thanks
I think we grew up in the same house in different cities. I was taught to say thank you, you’re welcome and to admit when I was wrong.
