Easton Ellsworth of Business BlogWire started a thing called Blog-Tipping a couple of months ago. On the first of each month, we should pick three Bloggers we read and give them three compliments and a helpful tip. Since I think it is such a great idea, I thought I would try my hand at it another time (This has become a really fun habit).
Â
So, for This Months Blog-Tipping Event:
Working Solo by Leah MacLean…
1. Even though your Blog is directed at the Small Business Woman, it has information and tips that can help any entrepreneur, male or female run a small business.
2. Your writing is easy to read and friendly. You write from your own experiences as well as bringing information you find to the table.
3. I appreciate your sense of humor, especially in some of the cartoons you use for illustration. (where do you get them anyway?)
Tip:Â You might consider making it easier to access your archives, I’m sure there is a lot of good stuff in there.
Â
Start a Side Business by Pascal…
1.  I like the nice clean look of the Blog. Easy to read, easy on the eyes and a nice overall layout
2. You have some really interesting Carnivals and always add your own flavor to the mix.
3. Your articles always give pertinent information on whatever topic you choose, we need more of your writing more often.
Tip:Â You may want to put an RSS icon in the sidebar or head for easy subscription to your feed.
Â
Who is Andrew Wee by Andrew Wee…
1. I really like the redesign of your Blog. It is a lot easier to read and to navigate.
2. You always make the visitor feel welcome. You let them know you like them being there.
3. The information you provide is always timely and useful. You practice what you preach by testing anything you recommend first.
Tip: Please get rid of the automatic voice. It’s good to hear you but give me the opting to click to hear you. It may just drive newcomers away if they don’t like that kind of thing (and many don’t).
Â
I think this is a worthwhile project and hope you try your hand at Tipping a Blog(ger) next month. My plan is to continue this project monthly because I like the whole idea of being helpful to other Bloggers and sharing the Link Leak Virus in this way as well.
I know this is a day early, but the Working at Home Blog Carnival is scheduled for tomorrow!
Â
Have you Tipped a Blog lately? Who was it? How did it make you feel?

Aw, Joe, it’s not the first yet (she whined). Isn’t Leah great? Don’t know the other two, but I will in a little while. BTW, got the template uploaded, thanks.
Carolyn
Hey Carolyn,
Yeah, Leah always has something good to read on her blog. Trust me, the other two are well worth the read as well.
Glad you got the template you wanted. I have no idea how I helped, all’s I did was give a little (very little) direction. :-}
Let me know if you need anything else.
Joe
THANK YOU Joe very much for the blog tip
I appreciate your comments and agree that the archives are still very much hidden. So I will make sure that I will elevate that up the projects list over the summer break (Dec/Jan I get to have time off).
Thanks also to Carolyn for the support
it warms a girl’s heart (almost to match the 34 deg C (93 F) day)
Hey Leah,
I am suprised I haven’t seen you Blog-tipped before, you deserve to be recognized for your good work. I would like to see more people take advantage of your sage advice.
Don’t let those archives get away, there is usually a treasure trove of information that just gets tucked away because it’s “old”.
Joe
Hey Joe,
tks for the mention, and it’s good to see you’re at your computer at all hours as usual.
it’s a good intro to pascal and leah’s site too.
i’ve checked them out.
cheers!
Thank you for the tipping, Joe! I will add this feed icon as you suggest, that’s definitely missing.
I’m flattered to be in such good company!
Hey Andrew,
Not a problem, my friend. I like your site, that’s why I visit it so much.
Joe
Hey Pascal,
I like your ideas and the way you share them with your readers. I just wanted to share your insight with My readers too.
