Is there an easy way for your Blog to become known in the Blogosphere?

In my opinion, one of the best ways to gain recognition is to be part of the Community.

~~ Join in the Conversation… Comment on other blogs, as long as it is relevant to the topic, it will be welcome. One of the most open conversations I know is every Tuesday Night at Successful Blog. Topics are always changing and you are guaranteed to have a good time.

~~ Join in on Projects… If you can contribute something to a worthwhile endeavour, help out. I joined in on Where is Basil, it’s a great way to meet new people from around the world. It is helping to strenghten the whole Blogging community. IMHO

~~ Join a Blog Carnival… Whatever your niche, you can give something back by writing a short article. I have been running the Working at Home Blog Carnival for 2 months and have met some great people who write interesting articles on the subject. Others can see and read your work. The more the merrier.

~~ Join a few Forums… There is always something to learn in your niche, or you can help someone else through your experiences. It is easy to give back to the community. Most good Forums will allow links back to your site, leading to more traffic for your Blog.

If you become involved in a Community of Bloggers, it will most likely be at least as much of an advantage to you as to the whole Community.

I can almost gurantee that if you participate in other Blogs Conversations, Projects, Forums and Carnivals, you will find New Avenues to Your Success as a Businessperson through your Blog.

I am going to continue adding new Blogging Tips every Saturday Morning. If you would like to contribute something to the series you can either leave a comment or use my contact form.

    3 Reader Remarks

    1. Absolutely, Joe. I should be a little more up to speed here, nevertheless, I agree.

If bloggers don’t get themselves out there, it’s kinda like needing a job and hoping someone will come out of the blue with an offer.

    2. Hey Carolyn,

I have found that when you take an easy step like commenting, it helps in exposing your site to more people.

That’s how I met you, through comments. :-)

    3. Absolutely, Joe. Comments are probably the best way to meet people. Next, I’ll seriously tackle Carnivals. For now, though, my poor blogs are very much in need of attention. Talk to you later. :)
