Personality or Ego in Business
Â
I got an E-mail from Ben Yoskovitz who writes some really good things for the Online Entrepreneur, Home Business Owner and the like at Instigator Blog. It seems he is starting another project in the genre (sorry Ben, cat’s out of the bag).
He asked if I had written anything regarding Ego and the Work at Home person. So I started looking through all 538 posts I had written. Guess what, I couldn’t find a thing. Not one article on Ego.
Â
I think that my personality comes through pretty well in what I write, but it seems everything is aimed at the reader. Even my “Rants” and “Attitude” posts are more about helping the visitor to my Blog overcome some of the problems I have encountered while Working at Home on the Internet.
I know that Ego plays a part in any Self-employed persons success. How could it not? Everyone has one, whether it is an advantage or disadvantage is totally up the the person involved. But this is more about personal style.
Â
Are Ego and Personality the same thing? I think in some cases, yes. But my personality is the type that needs to help others in order to fulfill the needs of my ego. Some need to tell people what they know to feel fulfilled. Still others, just have something to say and don’t care if anyone listens.
Â
Personality or Ego. You decide. Both play a part in who we are and how we interact with others at home or in business.
