Darren at ProBlogger has asked us to submit a “Quick Blogging Tip” that could possibly help other Bloggers in some way.  I thought I may just take it one step further by starting a Mini-Series of Blogging Tips that you may find helpful in your quest to entrepreneurship.

I think one of the most important tips would be LIKE WHAT YOU WRITE.

This is a three tiered proposition:

~~ You should Like the Subject matter. Your writing will be more enjoyable to you and your readers if You like the subject you write about.

~~ Like they way you present your content. If you are the serious type, be business like. If you use a lot of humor, be playful. Ask yourself if it is something you would read.

~~ Be Yourself. People get to know you through your writing. Use your personality in your posts. Let yourself stand out. Readers will respond to you.

I am going to continue adding new Blogging Tips every Saturday Morning. If you would like to contribute something to the series you can either leave a comment or use my contact form.

    1. I couldn’t have agreed more with your first tip. I am not an expert in this field but I can certainly say that many beginners make this mistake just to stay with the trend.

I have seen successful bloggers writing on ‘caring for your gold fish’ and making $150.00 per day in AdSense revenue. So blog about what you like and what you know.

      Thanks for emphasizing this.

      Cheers!

    2. Hey Sid,

Thanks, I agree, being true to yourself is the only way. If you like what you do, it is a lot easier for your readers (and youself) to enjoy your work.

Money will come if you have satisfied readers.

    4. Hey Darren,
“Sorry bout that Chief” (Maxwell Smart)
Link is fixed, don’t know how that happened. I’ve been visiting your Blog for well over a year, you’d think I could at least get the address right. ;-)
Thanks for stopping by, you are welcome here always.

    5. When I first started ( which wasn’t very long ago) my creative juices were just not flowing unless I wrote about what I do in my everyday life. So I firmly believe that if you write about something, not only do you have to be passionate about it, but you also have to live it- or else it is not believable:)

    6. Hey Veronica,

Welcome. I agree wholeheartedly. The only way to really be consistant is to be yourself in your writing.
If people can see that in what you write, they will return because they know they can trust what you say.
