Working at Home on the Internet Forum Added

I am not really sure why I decided to add a Forum to the Working at Home on the Internet Blog. It is part of the package from the hosting service I use, but that is not the main reason I made my decision.
I did add the Chat Room (also part of the same package) to the Contact page with little or no fanfare and no forethought. I don’t really think I am going to keep it. It reminds me too much of when I started with the AOL Chat Rooms. They were fun for about 20 minutes back when I still had Windows 3.1
Most likely, I’ll be getting rid of that soon (probably will be gone by the time this is published).
Actually, I like the idea of having a Forum. When I first started trying to eek out a living on the Internet, I visited a Lot of Forums. I learned more in forums from the interaction with people in the same situation as I, than I could have reading a ton of books on the subject.
Forums now are much the same as they were in Ancient Rome, a place to exchange ideas. So, I thought since this blog is about my trek into the world of Working at Home on the Internet, why not give people a chance to voice their opinon, ask questions and try to help people in the same boat.
This isn’t about making money from another outlet (although that would be nice), but about sharing information and helping others that are really trying to secure an income working on the Internet. Some of them have no other way of making a living. But they all have the desire to be independent and succeed on their own, I know I did and do.
If you think you can contribute something please join the Forum to add to the knowledge base. And if you need something I can’t provide, maybe someone from the Forum can help.
