I hope you have noticed that I have put a couple of Social Bookmarks at the end of each post. I have been pulling my hair out trying to get them to work. And I’m not finished yet.
I did the old copy/paste for both del.icio.us and reddit! On del.icio.us I can’t even find the icon to try to load, and the link itself doesn’t work.
On reddit! I did the download/upload to the server for the icon, and copy/paste for the insert to the template. The icon doesn’t work, all I seem to get is the little box with the X inside. I know that I have to make sure the reddit.png file is in the corresponding server file and the path in the template, Still not Working.
I finally got the link to work by changing the (what looked to me like Blogger) code in the link to something that at least resembled WordPress. ie. $PostTitle$ to the_post and the same for the permalink. At least that works now.
Why do they have to make the most simple of procedures into a major challenge?Needless to say, if I want to have anything of that nature on this Blog, I will have to relearn (forget) everything I already knew from using Blogger.
Any Tips? Easy ways to handle this? Tell me where to look?

Joe, One help might be to install the Ultimate Tag Warrior plugin and start playing around with it. There’s a lot you can do with the pluging that I haven’t even looked at yet but I’m pretty sure you can add del.iciou.us tags. I don’t know about Reddit, though.

I think you may have noticed that I FINALLY got the Reddit! right. The icon was because I was Stupid, I had reddit.png/ and that / killed the whole thing. Took that out and works like a charm.
On the del.icio.us, I looked at some other source codes that have the link and none match what I have. Mine does show the url and title in my source but will not show up for the link?
I’ll try that Tag Warrior thing, Thanks…

I’m almost Bald from trying to use the Ultimate Tag Warrior.
It was no problem to get to load, but How the Hell Do I Use It???

It’s ultra-easy to install and you pick which social bookmarking services you want to use. It puts cute little icons at the bottom of each post without a problem.

The plugin you need is called sociable.
