Blog-Tipping II
![]()
Easton Ellsworth of Business BlogWire started a thing called Blog-Tipping a couple of months ago. On the first of each month, we should pick three Bloggers we read and give them three compliments and a helpful tip. Since I think it is such a great idea, I thought I would try my hand at it another time (This is becoming a good habit).
So, for my Second Blog-Tipping Event:
ProBlogger… Darren Rowse
1. Darren has provided me with valuable information on Blogging with his daily posts and his personal experiences in Blogging as a Profession since the very beginning of my endeavour.
2. He did me a great favor by agreeing to do an Interview on his Work at Home Life. Even though I was (and still am) an unknown in the Blogosphere, he had no qualms in helping out a fellow Blogger.
3. Darren has always given credit to the sources of information he passes on, and adds spice and his own perspective to anyone or anything he quotes or references.
Tip:Â Don’t lose perspective, continue with your great articles and less time with “reporting” the news.
CREEations… Chris Cree
1. Chris has a way of writing that is inviting to read. He involves you in what he is saying, he doesn’t write at you he involves you.
2. He always has something good to say about anyone or anything he encounters. He tries to bring out the best in whatever happens to be in front of him.
3. There is always a “moral” to his stories, but in such a way that it feels like you’re talking to a friend, not a Preacher.Â
Tip:Â Don’t change anything in your writing style, just put your comments link at the botton of the post.
Business BlogWire… Easton Ellsworth
1. Easton has always linked freely to other Bloggers, notwithstanding starting Blog-Tipping.
2. He is always informative in anything you want to know about using Blogs in the Business/Corporate World.
3. Easton always shares resources he has found for Business (and personal) Blogging. He has (or will) reviewed each application to give you an idea of how and when to use them.
Tip: Slow down. You need to catch your breath. Three posts a day is a lot to keep up, only do it when you feel it is necessary.
I think this is a worthwhile project and hope you try your hand at Tipping a Blog(ger) next month. My plan is to continue this project monthly because I like the whole idea of being helpful to other Bloggers and sharing the Link Leak Virus in this way as well.
Have you Tipped a Blog lately? Who was it? How did it make you feel?
