Eg. If you have a plumming business you may want something more “down to earth”. As opposed to a background with clouds in the sky.
Most Blog programs have pre-determined choices or templates you can use included in your subscription. If you opt for a Web Page Designer, you will probably have to pay for their services, or at least download a program to do it yourself.
Either way, it is important to find something that will portray the idea of what you are trying to sell (even if it an idea).
